Mylynne & Adams

Cyndi Mylynne and Jeff Adams at Double Vision Studios have used their creative touch to develop an alluring style of art work that is rich in unusual texture and vigorous in abstract design. These one of a kind art pieces are filled with provoking visual images that invite you to interpret and question its deeper meaning.

Each fine art piece is created using the traditional process of European papermaking combined with other art media methods. During the initial forming of the paper a combination of cotton linter (from the seed of the cotton plant) and abaca (from the leaf of the Philippine banana plant) are used to create the desired strength and texture necessary for each design.

After the paper sheet is formed the design is masterfully created and is carefully placed on a drying rack for several days. When the paper has completely cured it is ready to be embellished with paints, glazes, irridescent pigments and metal leaf.
