Ned Moulton

Ned Moulton, a native of Miami, Florida, attended the Art Students League in New York and later earned his Master's Degree from the University of Miami.

Moulton, an English teacher for many years, has taken his abstract art in many directions. Early in the seventies his cartoon "Ole Uncle Ned" was a popular part of the "The Homestead News" in Florida. Then, in 1976, Moulton began painting images on the reverse side of Plexiglass. Moulton integrated modern paint formulas and airbrush techniques with the ancient tradition of reverse painting. Adding another touch of distinctiveness, Ned placed the works in a specially designed kiln and bent the glass by hand into billowing curves, thus creating Moulton Glas.

Today, Ned's passion is creating exclusively original wild horses, race horses and bicycle racers. Mr. Moulton's artistry and technical innovations receive prominent positions in corporate and private collections throughout the world. His race horses grace the walls of several thoroughbred race tracks throughout the United States.
